Laura García Soria is a PhD candidate in English Studies at the University of Zaragoza under the supervision of Dr. Sonia Baelo Allué and Dr. Mónica Calvo Pascual. She graduated in English Studies in 2020 at the University of Zaragoza, after which she obtained a Master’s degree in Literary Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid and a second Master’s in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of La Rioja. In 2024 she was awarded with a Competitive Research Fellowship (FPI) by the Spanish Ministry of Education to develop her doctoral research at the University of Zaragoza.Her research interests include ecocriticism, posthumanism and transhumanism, science fiction, trauma studies, intermediality and subjectivity.
