
Marta Hernández González is a PhD candidate at the University of Zaragoza. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s Degree in Advanced English Studies from the University of Alicante.
Her research explores the representation of the nonhuman animal in contemporary fiction, with a focus on biographical and autobiographical narratives and their intersections with the posthuman paradigm. Her interests include nonhuman empathy, vulnerability and suffering, as well as the representation of subjectivity, agency and voice.
